 Telangana’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) draft list 2026 was released on Monday, August 17 by Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharsan Reddy. Notices will be sent to about 92 lakh electors across the state, with Hyderabad seeing the largest share. Voters can now search for their names, download local draft rolls, and submit corrections through the Election Commission of India (ECI) online portals.

Why you may need to check again

Polling stations have been increased in many areas, including Hyderabad, so many electors have been assigned new booth numbers. Before looking up your name in the draft roll, you must first find your updated booth number.

Step-by-step: Find your name in the SIR draft list

- Find your new booth number. Use the ECI search portal and enter your EPIC (Elector Photo Identity Card) number, or search by name, relative’s name, and date of birth to locate your polling booth.

- Download the elector list for that booth from the ECI website.

- Check your entry in the downloaded draft roll.

Groups in the draft list

- Mapped voters: Entries that match correctly.

- Voters with anomalies: These electors will receive notices and must provide proof—typically documents showing relationship details as recorded in the 2002 SIR list.

- Unmapped voters: These electors will receive notices and should respond with supporting documents, typically related to date of birth or identity, as instructed.

- Notice period: Ongoing until October 15, 2026.

- Final electoral roll release: October 17, 2026.
